After seeing a post he made to the Critical Chain Yahoo Group, I contacted Vladimir Liberzon. He provided a link to a presentation about?Resource Limited Project Management. This presentation is a great resource for anyone interested in CCPM and deals with managing resource constraints from a Critical Chain perspective. Spider Management Technologies, Vladimir’s company (I used a Firefox translator plug-in to read the site links), also offers a software package called Spider Project that deals with Critical Chain planning. You can download a demo version to test it out. I haven’t tried it yet, but I plan to. My school-issued laptop is currently locked down so I can’t use it for any other purposes. I’ll be able to test it on my home computer when I have some time off.
