Q: Why should companies train IT personnel in this technology? It is a common feature found in production networks. This includes load-balancing and secure VPN remote access. Q: What was your student perspective when creating this course. I wanted to take someone who is comfortable with networking. However, they are brand new to Netscaler and I will walk them through the basics of configuration and functionality to get it up in their network.

It is the best way to learn and validate your knowledge about the Netscaler by getting to work with it. Citrix offers evaluation licences and you can build a practice laboratory using one computer that is running hypervisor.
Q: Which one of these real-world applications can someone expect to use? A remote SSL VPN access allows external users to access internal resources, including virtualized desktops and virtualized apps. The Netscaler can also be used to load balance across multiple resources.
Q: Which Nugget was your favorite to make? I loved the Nuggets where the demonstrations worked first time. There are many variables involved, such as browsers that cache information, DNS, active directory, and others. This can make a solution fail. Those were the Nuggets that had the stars aligned on the first attempt. They were my favorite Nuggets. Due to the prerecording testing and verification I do before I start recording, the learner won’t see any configurations that don’t work in the final videos. All the pre-testing that I do allows me to only include working configurations and scenarios in my final product. These Nuggets also include a reminder to the learner about the pitfalls they should be aware of to avoid problems during implementation.
Q: What were the obstacles you faced when creating this training? A: There were many browsers that cache information. This can negatively impact a beautiful demonstration of load balance across multiple web servers.
Q: What is the one thing you hope learners will take away from this course? The intention is that the learner will feel comfortable with the basic building blocks and have had the opportunity to practice in their own lab environment to prove their skills with the Netscaler.
