Short: The Digital Project Manager – Controlling the Client’s Perceptions of You

“If you are in front of the issues, you are proving yourself to be an expert. If you’re trailing issues… events dominate you. This means that the client is dominating your life.
Dean and his truematter team have mastered the art of managing clients over the years. Controlling their perception is one way they do this. It is easier to gain trust and retain control of the project when your client views you as an expert.
You can control perception by:
Take control of the initiative Arrive early when there is conflict. You have more flexibility and options in the project if you get started early.
Think like a plumber. You will think and act differently if you think differently. Perception is influenced by how you act.
